Feminist Values Of The Major Female Character In The Film Of Joy

This research analyze the female major character, Joy, in the film Joyin the
perspective of feminism. By using descriptive method, this reasearch focus on
dialog as primary data in order to find how she is described and how she is
dealing with problems in accordance with feminist film critics.
The writer finds that Joy is described as an independent womanwho takes
responsibility to her family members, neighbourhood, and people around her. By
becoming independent and responsible, she is able to fight for her rights, her
ideas, her patents and finally she succeed pursuing her dreams to be a business
woman, an advisor for many inventors, gaining the benefit of happiness for
helself, her family and also for others
