The purpose of this study was to determine the change of AACR2 to RDA in its application as a cataloging standard in the National Library and to know the perceptions of librarians of the National Library of Indonesia towards the change of AACR2 to RDA as a cataloging standard. This research is a research with a qualitative approach and a descriptive exploratory research type. The techniques used to collect data are observation, interviews and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique with 4 informants. The overall results of the research on the change in cataloging standards from AACR2 to RDA in the National Library of Indonesia are more in line with the AGIL Parsons theory, namely Adaptation (A), Goal Attainment (G), Integration (I), and Latent Pattern Maintenance (L). However, there is one component whose goal has not yet been achieved in making changes to the cataloging standards, namely the Goal Attainment component, in this case the National Library has not fully implemented the concept of relationship, while the other components are in accordance with the AGIL theory. Meanwhile, overall the librarian's perception of the change in cataloging standards from AACR2 to RDA is more suitable to use social theory by Deriyanto & Qorib which shows a lot of positive perceptions rather than negative perceptions.
